Research in Archives

There are occasions where a specific document or series of documents deposited in an archive repository need to be examined.

It could be more cost effective to instruct a local agent who has knowledge of a particular archive and its collections than to undertake travel which could be some distance, might involve an overnight stay and then even when you visit the repository you then have to familiarise yourself with their systems. Some older documents could be difficult to read and you might need palaeographical skills or a knowldege of Latin, we can translate and transcribe these older type of documents for you.

We have a network of agents who are able to undertake research in repositories throughout the UK and overseas.
